These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our website and the supply of goods and services by Yumen Global Furniture operated by BM Marketing Ltd (“Yumen”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing our website or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About Us
Yumen Global Furniture is a B2B furniture sourcing and wholesale business specialising in luxury contract and bespoke furniture for hospitality, commercial, and trade clients. We source and supply handcrafted furniture from Indonesia, including Bali, and other parts of Southeast Asia.
2. Scope of Services
We provide the following services:
Sourcing of contract and bespoke furniture
Wholesale supply of furniture for hospitality and commercial projects
Pre-order and bulk order procurement
Product specification and sampling
Factory coordination and quality control
Export coordination and shipping support (FOB and other agreed Incoterms)
All services are provided exclusively to business customers.
3. Business-to-Business Sales Only
Yumen Global Furniture operates strictly on a business-to-business (B2B) basis.
We do not sell to consumers, and consumer protection legislation does not apply to our contracts.
By placing an order, you confirm that you are acting in the course of business.
4. Quotations & Pricing
All quotations are provided on a non-binding basis unless stated otherwise.
Prices are typically quoted FOB (Free On Board) unless agreed in writing.
Prices exclude VAT, import duties, customs clearance fees, local taxes, and delivery beyond the agreed Incoterm.
Quotations may be withdrawn or amended prior to order confirmation.
5. Orders & Acceptance
Orders are only deemed accepted once confirmed in writing by Yumen.
Any amendments to specifications must be agreed in writing and may affect pricing and lead times.
Custom and bespoke items are produced to order and cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.
6. Lead Times & Production
All lead times provided are estimates only.
Production times may vary due to raw materials, factory schedules, shipping conditions, or events beyond our control.
We are not liable for delays caused by manufacturers, freight providers, customs authorities, or force majeure events.
7. Samples & Variations
Samples are representative only.
As our products are handcrafted, variations in colour, grain, texture, finish, and dimensions are inherent and not considered defects.
Natural materials such as wood, rattan, stone, and fabrics will vary from piece to piece.
8. Shipping, Risk & Title
Risk passes to the customer in accordance with the agreed Incoterm (typically FOB).
Title to goods passes only once full payment has been received.
The customer is responsible for insurance, shipping arrangements, and customs clearance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Inspection & Claims
The customer must inspect goods upon delivery.
Any damage, shortages, or defects must be notified in writing within 7 days of receipt.
Failure to notify within this period constitutes acceptance of the goods.
10. Returns & Refunds
Bespoke, made-to-order, and bulk contract furniture is non-returnable.
Returns are only accepted where goods are proven to be materially defective and where agreed in writing by Yumen.
Refunds or remedies are limited to repair, replacement, or credit at our discretion.
11. Intellectual Property
All designs, drawings, specifications, images, and content provided by Yumen remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed.
You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute them without our prior written consent.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of profits, business, or reputation.
Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the goods or services supplied under the relevant order.
We are not responsible for delays, failures, or losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
13. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, shipping disruptions, or governmental actions.
14. Confidentiality
All commercial terms, pricing, specifications, and communications between Yumen and the customer are confidential and must not be disclosed to third parties without consent.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
